After Record-Breaking Year, JM Family Enterprises Announces Four Executive-Level Promotions

Diversified automotive corporation JM Family Enterprises, Inc. recently celebrated 2015’s record-breaking year across all of its primary business units. As part of the company’s long-term growth strategy, the Executive Management Team announced four senior-level promotions. 

 

Rajeev Ravindran was named chief information officer for JM Family. Ravindran’s strategic vision has helped evolve the company’s technology capabilities and played a vital role in the implementation of several key initiatives. He joined the company in 2003 as director of Architecture and worked in a variety of leadership positions within Information Technology Services (ITS). Most recently, Ravindran served as the group vice president of ITS, overseeing the direction of technology across the enterprise.

 

Hank Grooms, was appointed to group vice president of Marketing and Field Operations for Southeast Toyota Distributors, a subsidiary of JM Family that is the largest distributor of Toyota and Scion vehicles to 176 dealerships in the country’s southeast region. Grooms began his career with JM Family in 1990 as a branch operations manager for one of the other subsidiaries World Omni Financial Corp and held various leadership roles throughout his 25-year career with JM Family.

 

World Omni provides best-in class systems and services to automotive dealers and lenders in the wholesale asset finance industry. In an ongoing effort to develop the company’s leadership, Ed Brown will return as group vice president of Operations. Brown has held a number of leadership roles since joining JM Family in 2003, most recently as group vice president of Healthcare Services, Aviation and Marine. His knowledge and expertise of the company’s core businesses will help support World Omni’s objectives, which continue to focus on service center operations and a robust compliance environment.

 

Joanna Sherry has been promoted to vice president of Sales and Marketing for World Omni. Sherry joined the company in 2014 as assistant vice president of Marketing with nearly 20 years of leadership experience in marketing at Ford Motor Company, Carfax and Volkswagen Credit. During her tenure with World Omni, she guided the restructuring of the Marketing team, including the addition of the newly established Plans, Programs and Analytics Groups, and led the development implementation of the company’s digital strategy.
